Entrepreneurship Week !!!

It was not that there was nothing happening in college it was just that I was not able post due to the excellent services of MTNL(Mtnl hai to sahi nahi hai !!!).. Ok leaving that aside a lot happened after the outing.

Events
Our Seniors gave us a brief about the events that were conducted and how was the response etc etc.... IES conducted 10 events including the conferences etc... in the year 2007-2008. And for the year 2008-2009 they are planning 15 events of which 5 events have not been finalised and thats upto the students creativity. You can do an event on any topic of your choice. Thats the kind of freedom given. (Empowerment, Decentralization, Innovative thinking etc..) Its practised here.

Entrepreneurship Week
Its part of the project for the seniors. They have to do a business and earn some profit and that should be genuine profit. It was nice to see PG students selling things like burgers , theplas , choclates, artificial jewellery, pen drives, optical mouse, scientific calculators. Screening of movies, Quiz competetions, Workshops for MS Office Suite...This is what I can remember right now!!! (Pics will be posted as and when I get those)

Lappies
We all got our laptops (Acer Extensa). For most its the first laptop !!! So the excitement was worth a watch.

Placement Committee
Interviews were held for selecting candidates for Placement committee.... Results are expected tomorrow !!!
